Head Sprint Coach/Founder
Was Head Sprint Coach for The University of Chicago Track Club (UCTC) for 20 years.
Was a Board Member of UCTC for 18 Years.
Greg originally assisted Richard Walton who founded the UCTC Youth Track and Field Program in 1985.
UCTC was founded in 1953 by Edward "Ted" Haydon, two- time Olympic Coach.
Greg was given the Howard H. Williams Memorial Service Award from UCTC for Outstanding Contribution to the Club.
Greg has coached Sprints, Hurdles and Jumps during his tenure.
He has produced many champions at all levels and ages.

Jim ran the 60, 100, 220 and the 440 for Ron Drozd at the University of Chicago High School.
He went Downstate to the State Finals in the 100 and 440, 2 years.
Jim holds the All time H.S. Indoor 440 yd. dash record.
Also the All time outdoor 100 yd. dash and 440 yd. dash records.
Conference Champion in 440 yd. run.
Was Co-Captain with Rich Nayer of Track team, Senior year.
Ran in National Prep Track and Field Invitational, Dyke stadium, Senior year.
College:
Jim held the University of Virginia 400 meter record at 46.2
He ran for the Wahoo's for 4 years.
He ran in meets ranging from ACC meets to the Penn Relays.
Paul Venerable

Has run Track and played Pro football.
Steven Hatchett

Runs currently 400/800 meters at a National level
Edward McKinnie
Assistant Sprint and Hurdle Coach.
Has competed in sprints and hurdles.

Chinonye "Chi-chi" Nnakye

Chi-chi is amazing with the kid's and she is also one of the smartest people we know.
Recently completed PhD at University of Chicago (Molecular Biology). Good job !
Mars Herring

Mars is not only great with the kids, and very helpful but also quite smart, too.
She just graduated from University of Chicago as an undergraduate/BA.
She will some day soon be joining the Marine Corps in Officer Training School. Semper Fi !
